My name is Katie and I started ‘thread room’ sewing classes.
I absolutely love the process of sewing. I spend most of my spare time either at the sewing machine or dreaming up new sewing workshops to teach.
I studied fashion design at university and briefly worked in the fashion industry. I started teaching classes a few years ago and I never imagined how much I would enjoy them.
I love to see the joy people get from creating their own things and I am always looking forward to my next class!
I also have a great team of tutors teaching Thread Room classes too. There is Ali, Anna, Blue, Briar, Jasmine, Jeanette, Jessie, Joanna, Lile, Mariya, Rachel, Sarah, Sue.
