Sew a Floor Cushion!

Pt Chevalier - Monday 6th July - 9am-3pm - Ages 8+

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

Learn to sew a floor cushion. These floor cushions are the perfect accessory for any kids room. Comfy to sit on or rest your feet and great for playing on too.

We will learn lots of great sewing skills along the way from using patterns, patch work, stitching on the machines, all essential skills for any budding sewist. Students will each get to pick out their own fabric combinations, so every student will go home with their very own unique cushion.

Students must be in Year 4 or above. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 8 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

7 Te Ra Road, Point Chevalier, Auckland.
Looking from Te Rā Road - Room 25 is directly behind the big playground.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle. Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
