Sew a Hoodie - 2 day workshop!

Belmont - Two Days - Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th September - 9am-3pm - Ages 8+

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

Learn to sew a Hoodie! In this workshop we will be learning how to make an adorable and cosy animal hoodie. We will start with learning all the sewing machine basics, then how to cut fabric out using a pattern, and how to put a project together.

By the end of the second day every student will have made a super cute hoodie to take home perfect for keeping you cosy!

Ages 8+. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 8 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

When
Two Days - Students must attend both days to complete the hoodie
Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th September. 9am-3pm.

Studio doors will only open about 5 minutes before workshop. You are welcome to wait outside before then.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle. Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
