Decluttering your fabric stash or hunting for some free sewing finds? Join us for our FREE Community Fabric Swap.

Bring along any fabric you’re happy to swap, or simply come along and see what’s available. We’ll also have sewing demonstrations on the day for anyone who’d like to give sewing a try.

How it works

  • Drop off and browse between 10am – 1pm

  • Bring fabric, take fabric (cashless exchange)

  • You’re welcome to come even if you don’t have fabric to bring

Fabric can be dropped off:

  • The day before at Devonport Community House (10am – 3pm)

  • Or brought along on the day of the swap

Fabric guidelines
Please bring fabrics that other sewists would be happy to use.
No scraps, stained, mildewed, or unusable items, please.

Who it’s for
Sewists, makers, quilters, beginners, and anyone keen to reduce waste, refresh their stash, and connect with the sewing community.
