Sew a Zipper Pouch!

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

Learn to sew a zipper pouch! These cute zipper pouches are the perfect accessory for any kid. So practical and versatile!

We will learn lots of great sewing skills along the way from using patterns, stitching on the machines and putting a zipper into a project, all essential skills for any budding sewist. Students will each get to pick out their own fabric combinations, so every student will go home with their very own unique zipper pouch.

Ages 8+. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 8 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

When
Monday 30th June. 9am-3pm.
Please note that we usually take the entire day to sew these cool projects, so students must be able to attend for that timeframe.

Studio doors will only open about 5 minutes before workshop. You are welcome to wait outside before then.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle.
Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
