Bodice Fitting Workshop
Are you tired of making patterns that don’t fit around the bust?!
We totally get it, and we are here to help.
In this workshop you will learn how to take any store-bought pattern and adjust the bodice to fit your body.
Ill-fitting bodices are one of the most common issues we see people having in sewing class.
Fitting patterns around the bust can be particularly challenging. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes and that is especially true for the bust area. Generally patterns are all drafted for a rather perky B-cup and that just simply isn’t the shape of most women. People often find them selves with darts that stick out, bodices that are restricting, having to size up the rest of the garment just to fit the bust, loose fabric around the bust or simply having no bust shaping in the garment at all.
Usually all that is needed is some simple dart manipulation and once you know the basics of what you need for your body, you can apply those same adjustments to almost any pattern.
We want this to be a really practical and useful course, tailored to each individual and what pattern they want to work on.
