Term 1 Adults Saturday Class
This class is a mixed level class we will have spaces for beginners and spaces for those with more experience.
Beginner Sewers:
In this class we will cover all the basics of sewing for beginners!
Starting with with making a pin cushion, then a gorgeous tote bag, then everyone will work on their own individual project. By the end of the term students will know how to confidently use a sewing machine, how to understand patterns and how to put together and sew simple projects. You don’t need any previous sewing experience to join this class.
Experienced Sewers:
If you are a more experienced sewer and you would like to join this class, please email hello@threadroom.co.nz before booking and we will see if this class is suitable for you.

When
Saturdays 10am-12pm
Term 1 starts the week of the 10th of February and run for 8 weeks.
What you need
For beginner students we will provide a project for you to get started on for the first few lessons. Once you move onto working on your own project you will need to bring fabric and a pattern - we will advise you in class on what you need.
For more experienced students you will need to bring in their own projects to work on in this class. If you are unsure of what to work on we can help you find a project during class.
All machine use and basic calico materials are included.
