Learn to sew at Point Chevalier School!

Mondays 3.30-4.30pm
Mondays 4.30-5.30pm

Term 2 starts from the week of the 27th of April and classes run for eight weeks. Since this class falls on a Monday, it will run over 9 weeks to account for a mid-term public holiday (no class on the holiday). 

Our classes are for students in Year 4 and above

Experienced Students
In Term 2, students will level up their sewing skills by creating a stylish duffle bag and a fun ruffle-sleeved jumper they’ll be proud to wear and use every day!

Beginner Students
We will go through all the basics of learning to sew! Making lots of awesome projects as we go such as - scrunchies, tote bags, soft toys, skirts and more.

Room 25
Looking from Te Rā Road - Room 25 is directly behind the big playground.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
