Sew a Summer Top!

December - Thursday 18th December - 9am-3pm - Ages 8+

Please note: This holiday workshop is held at the ROSE CENTRE - BELMONT

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

Learn to sew a cute top! In this workshop we will be learning how to make a lovely Summer top. We will learn lots of great sewing skills along the way, such as using patterns, working on the sewing machines, and stitching clothing. Students will get to pick out their own fabric from our collection and at the end of the day they will take home a fantastic new top.

Ages 8+. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 8 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

Please note that we usually take the entire day to sew these cool projects, so students must be able to attend for that timeframe. Studio doors will only open about 5 minutes before workshop. You are welcome to wait outside before then.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle.
Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
