Learn to sew at Macleans Primary School!
When:
Tuesdays 3.30-4.30pm
Tuesdays 4.30-5.30pm
Term 1 will start the week of the 9th of February run for 8 weeks.
Experienced Students
This term, our students will be sewing two fun and wearable summer projects - a wrap skirt and a T-shirt! Perfect for warm weather, these pieces are light, comfy, and full of creative possibilities. Students can personalise their designs through fabric choices and finishing touches, while learning useful sewing skills. By the end of the term, they’ll have a handmade summer outfit they’ll be proud to wear!

Beginner Students
We will go through all the basics of learning to sew! Making lots of awesome projects as we go such as - scrunchies, tote bags, soft toys, skirts and more.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
