Christmas Sewing Fun!

Schools out & it is almost Christmas. Lets have some Christmas Sewing Fun!

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

In this workshop kids can choose to work on a number of different Christmas themed projects - decorations, cards, gift bags & more.

We will learn lots of great sewing skills along the way, such as using patterns, working on the sewing machines, and stitching techniques. Students will get to pick out their own fabric from our collection and at the end of the day they will take home some fantastic creations.

Ages 8+. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 8 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

Studio doors will only open about 5 minutes before workshop. You are welcome to wait outside before then.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle.
Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
