Kristin - Term 3 Kids Sewing Class
Learn to sew!
When
Mondays 3.35-4.35pm
Term 3 starts from the 3rd of August and run for eight weeks.
This class is available to Year 4, 5 & 6 Kristin students only.
Experienced Students
This term, students will be making their very own pair of trousers - learning how to get the perfect fit, add pockets, and sew something they’ll actually want to wear. They’ll also create a patchwork quilted oven mitt, combining different fabrics and learning quilting techniques to make something both beautiful and practical.
Beginner Students
We will go through all the basics of learning to sew! Making lots of awesome projects as we go such as - scrunchies, tote bags, soft toys, skirts and more.
All materials and machines will be provided.
Where
Kristin School - Classes are held in the Kristin Sewing Room.
-Students will meet our tutors after-school outside the Junior School Art Room - (opposite the retail shop) to be walked to class.
-Pick up after class will be from the Sewing Room at the Senior Technology Block.
What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
