Sew a Cloud or Star Cushion!

Devonport - Wednesday 8th July - 9am-3pm - Ages 8+

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

Learn to sew a Cloud or Star Cushion! In this workshop students will get to make some very adorable cushions. We will learn lots of great sewing skills along the way, such as using patterns, working on the sewing machines, sewing seams, hand embroidery, sewing on embellishments and more. Students will get to choose from some beautiful fabrics to create their cushions. At the end of the day everyone will take home a fantastic new cushion!

Ages 8+. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 8 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

Classes are held upstairs in the Rimu Room.
Important: The front door will the locked during school hols. Sewing students must head around the back and up the ramp to directly access upstairs.

When
Wednesday 8th July. 9am-3pm.
Studio doors will only open about 5 minutes before workshop. You are welcome to wait outside before then.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle. Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
