Sew a Mini Drawstring Bag!

Pt Chev - Tuesday 14th July - 9am-3pm - For students in Year 4 and above

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

Learn to sew a Mini Drawstring Bag! In this workshop students will get to make some very adorable bags. We will learn lots of great sewing skills along the way, such as using patterns, working on the sewing machines, sewing seams, box corners, casings and more. Students will get to choose from some beautiful fabrics to create their bags. At the end of the day everyone will take home a fantastic new drawstring bag!

Ages 8+. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 8 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

Looking from Te Rā Road - Room 25 is directly behind the big playground.

When
Tuesday 14th July. 9am-3pm.
Studio doors will only open about 5 minutes before workshop. You are welcome to wait outside before then.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle. Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
