Pt Chevalier - Tuesday 7th July - 9am-3pm - Year 4+

Holidays are the perfect time for kids to get creative and have a whole lot of fun! That is exactly what we like to do in our Thread Room Sewing Workshops.

Learn to sew PJ pants! In this workshop we will be learning how to make some warm and cosy flannel PJ pants. We will start with learning all the sewing machine basics, then how to cut fabric out using a pattern, and how to put a project together.

By the end of the day every student will have made a lovely pair of PJ pants to take home and they will have learnt a whole bunch of new skills.

Year 4+. This workshop is suitable for total beginners, or for more experienced students. We have a great tutor/student ratio of one tutor to a maximum of 7 students which means everyone gets a lot of focussed attention throughout the day.

What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students need to bring morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle. Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.
